Harrogate Christadelphian Ecclesia

Our ecclesia has met in Harrogate for over 100 years, and we regularly hold meetings devoted to the study and preaching of God's word.

If you are intrested in finding out more about the Bible, you are very welcome to come along to our weekly "Exploring the Bible" study sessions. Beginning on 19th March 2017, these are held every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Harlow Hill Community Centre.

"Exploring the Bible"

  • A free bible study hour, Sundays at 10:00am (starting 19th March 2017)
  • Harlow Hill Community Centre
  •

Whether you are already familiar with the Bible, or are new to reading it, the aim of "Exploring the Bible" is to help you read the Bible more effectively. With workshops and presentations, this study hour is full of useful information and practical study techniques.

The sessions are delivered in a friendly, comfortable environment, and you will be encouraged to read the Bible yourself and find out more about its message.

You will learn, for example...

  •     - About the writers of the Bible
  •     - An overview of the books of the Bible
  •     - How to use Bible cross-references
  •     - How to use study tools, like a Bible concordance
  •     - What the differences are between Bible versions
  •     - Why are the Jews so important in the Bible?
  •     - What does the Bible tell us about the future?
  •     - Why is there an Old Testament and a New Testament?

Some Practical Points...

It is not necessary to have prior knowledge of the Bible, as "Exploring the Bible" is suitable for all levels of knowledge.

You do not need a Bible, as one can be provided.

No need to book - just come along!

These sessions are free of charge and you will not be expected to make a donation, nor will we ask you to join our community.

Our hope is that the study sessions will encourage you to read and draw your own conclusions about God and the Bible. The purpose is to help you read the Bible for yourself.
